1. Who We Are
LinguaMock operates the platform at linguamock.ai. We provide AI-powered IELTS practice tests for individuals and institutions. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the British Council, IDP Education, Cambridge Assessment English, or any official IELTS administrator.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use LinguaMock:
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register, or your Google profile details if you sign in via Google OAuth.
- Practice data: your answers to listening, reading, writing, and speaking practice questions; audio recordings of speaking responses; AI evaluation scores and feedback.
- Payment information: subscription and billing details are processed by Paddle (our merchant of record). We do not store your full card details.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, test attempts, and session activity, collected to improve the platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the LinguaMock platform.
- To evaluate your practice responses using AI and return scores and feedback to you.
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing confirmations).
- To process payments and manage your subscription through Paddle.
- To respond to support requests and communicate platform updates.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform, including hosting, payment processing, authentication, and AI evaluation services. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and practice data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@linguamock.ai, we will delete or anonymise your personal data as soon as reasonably possible, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights (GDPR & Privacy)
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@linguamock.ai and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible, and within 30 days at the latest.

LinguaMock uses essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is displayed because we only set strictly necessary cookies.
